Welcome to the 20-30 Knots website. These Vacation Rental Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any booking or inquiry made through it. By accessing this site or booking a stay at one of our properties, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
This is a legal agreement between 20-30 Knots (“we,” “our,” “us”) and you, the guest or user (“you,” “your”). Please read these terms carefully before using our site or booking a vacation rental.
20-30 Knots operates vacation rental properties available for short-term stays. By using our website or making a booking—whether directly or through linked third-party platforms—you agree to comply with the following terms and any applicable house rules, policies, or platform agreements.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use this website or make a booking.
You may inquire, request to book, or confirm a reservation either directly through our website or through approved third-party booking platforms such as Airbnb or Vrbo.
Eligibility:
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to book.
We reserve the right to request valid government-issued photo identification at the time of booking or check-in.
Payment & Deposits:
Direct bookings may require full payment or a deposit at the time of reservation. Details will be outlined during checkout.
Security deposits may apply and are refundable, pending post-stay inspection.
House Rules: By booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to the property’s house rules, including occupancy limits, noise restrictions, and pet policies (if applicable). Failure to follow these rules may result in cancellation of your stay without refund.
For new direct bookings of 20 Knots, 30 Knots, or both homes together, the following rules apply to stays of any length, including 28 nights or longer:
24-hour grace period: cancel within 24 hours after booking confirmation for a full refund, provided the reservation was confirmed at least 7 days before check-in.
Deadlines are measured from the scheduled check-in time of 3 PM in El Sargento’s local time zone. For a direct booking, send your cancellation request to ned@20-30knots.com or through the booking channel, and obtain confirmation.
This policy applies to new direct reservations. Existing confirmed reservations retain the cancellation terms agreed when booked.
Reservations made through another booking platform follow the cancellation policy, fee rules, and applicable exceptions attached to that reservation. Cancel through that platform. Our direct-booking policy does not change a platform’s separate long-stay rules.
By booking a stay at one of our vacation rentals, you agree to:
Follow all house rules, including check-in/check-out times, quiet hours, and maximum guest limits.
Not host parties, events, or gatherings without prior written approval.
Not bring unregistered or unauthorized guests to the property.
Respect no smoking and pet policies, if applicable.
Leave the property in good condition. Guests are liable for any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning fees resulting from their stay.
Report any issues or incidents immediately during your stay.
Violation of these rules may result in early termination of your stay and/or fees.
You agree to use our website responsibly and lawfully. You may not:
Use the site to transmit spam, malware, or unauthorized commercial content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to data, systems, or accounts
Scrape, copy, or reuse content without permission
All text, images, branding, and content on this site are the intellectual property of 20-30 Knots unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but we make no guarantees about the availability, accuracy, or completeness of site content or third-party links.
We are not liable for:
Downtime or access issues related to the website
Injuries, accidents, or theft during your stay
Losses caused by weather events, power outages, natural disasters, or other force majeure events
Guests should ensure they have adequate travel insurance for unforeseen situations.
Your privacy matters. Information collected through contact forms or bookings is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. It is your responsibility to review this page regularly for any changes. Continued use of the website or our services after modifications are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
