Pool day credit for stays of 4+ nights
Stay 4 nights or longer and receive up to MXN $350 (about US $19) toward each of 4 individual off-site pool admissions per stay. This is one allocation per stay, not a daily allowance.
Our preferred choice is Mística/Pitaya for a scenic pool day with pickleball, ping-pong and a restaurant. Other options include Casa Tara (adults only, no children; quiet relaxation), Todo Bien (laid-back boutique beachfront lounging), and Ventana Blue (pool time alongside activities).
Arrange visits through Fernanda in advance to confirm prices, availability, reservations, age restrictions and included facilities. Some venues charge more or offer packages with food/drink credit. Guests pay any amount above MXN $350 per admission and any extras outside their chosen package. The allowance is in Mexican pesos; its approximate U.S. dollar value varies with exchange rates. There is no swimming pool on the property.

Your own corner of Baja
20 Knots is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom home in El Sargento, built from repurposed shipping containers with decks overlooking the Sea of Cortez. It is a comfortable base for beach days, outdoor adventures and unhurried evenings at home.
Your space
Both bedrooms have king-sized beds with Casper mattresses. Outside, enjoy a lower deck with a fire table and teak furniture, and an upper deck with a hammock and daybed. A gas barbecue makes relaxed dinners at home easy. Inside, the Infinity Game Table and Soundstream SoundTable offer more ways to unwind.

Comforts for your stay
Settle into king-sized beds with Casper mattresses, air-conditioned rooms and air purifiers. Roku TVs are set up with Hulu Live TV for US sports, plus HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime. Please leave the house accounts signed in.
Stay connected through Telmex internet with automatic Starlink backup. Each home has an Infinity Game Table, two inflatable SUPs, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, a SOLI canopy and a Shibumi shade. Keep your equipment in your house’s dedicated storage, with a lock code assigned to your stay. Two outdoor showers and a freshwater rinse hose make it easy to clean up after the beach, and the large deck provides space to dry gear.
A shared laundry room in the container behind 30 Knots has a washer/dryer and purified-water ice maker. Fresh ice is placed in each home’s freezer before arrival. Purified drinking water is available from the small kitchen sink spigot.
Designed with conservation in mind
The homes are built from repurposed shipping containers. Across the property, 20 kWp of solar panels typically generate 75–100+ kWh per day, depending on conditions. A 35 kWh battery system stores energy for overnight use and provides backup during power outages. A biodigester treats wastewater for reuse in landscape irrigation, reducing demand for fresh water.

Arrival and local support
Choose self check-in or arrange an in-person welcome and house tour with Fernanda Ochoa. Check-in starts at 3 pm; later arrivals are welcome. Check-out is at 11 am. For help during your stay, message us through the app used to book, or contact Fernanda or Ned using the details provided with your reservation.
You can arrive through La Paz (LAP) or Los Cabos (SJD). Plan ground transportation in advance and check your route and travel time for the day of your trip.
House Manual
Please review and follow the house rules below. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our
Terms and Conditions for direct bookings, or in your reservation terms when booked through another platform.
– Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm please.
– No smoking inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied.
– Please wash your dishes after use.
– PARKING: parking is provided in two places; inside the gate on the north side of the property, and outside of the gate on the Bay side of the property (main road).
-Please return all game accessories (darts, shuffleboard pucks etc) to their rightful places at the end of your stay.
– Feel free to use the barbecue outside. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill clean. If found left dirty and requires extra cleaning, an extra cleaning fee may be required.
– Please do not rearrange our furniture.
– If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation), please speak with us about your plans at the time of booking.
– If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges.
– In the event of excessive noise reported by neighbors, guests will receive one warning. Should additional excessive noise be reported by neighbors, guests will be asked to leave the property immediately.

- Smoking: not permitted inside the homes.
- Parties and events: advance written approval is required.
