EL SARGENTO · LA VENTANA · THE SEA OF CORTEZ
Adrenaline fueled relaxation
Ride the wind, explore the desert, or spend a slow day beside the water. From 20–30 Knots, build a Baja getaway around the adventures you love—and leave room to try something new.

KITEBOARDING & WINGFOILING
Follow the wind
Take a first lesson, refresh your skills or spend the afternoon riding the bay. Our guidebook starts with Playa Central, Elevation Kiteboarding at Baja Joe’s, and Pelican Reef / Strong Kiteboarding. Arrange lessons and visitor access directly.
OCEAN ADVENTURES & SEAFARIS
A day on the Sea of Cortez
Head out by boat to look for marine wildlife, with snorkeling when conditions allow. Our picks include Baja Wild Encounters, Baja Underwater Expeditions and Te Ma’o Dive Center & Expeditions. Choose the outing for your experience and the season; encounters depend on nature.
SCUBA DIVING
Go beneath the surface
For a first scuba experience, a refresher or guided dives, start with La Ventana Dive Center, Baja Underwater Expeditions and Te Ma’o. Ask about certification requirements and the dive sites planned for your dates.
FREEDIVING
Learn a different way to explore
Freediving uses breath-hold techniques rather than scuba equipment. Baja Freedivers, Te Ma’o and Palapas Ventana are our starting points for structured courses and guided sessions matched to your experience.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Ride the desert trails
Explore cactus-lined terrain and bay views on a guided ride or a rental suited to your skills. Our three picks are Rancho Cacachilas / El Portal, Aqua Ventana and Tatehuari Experience. Ask about e-bikes, route advice and access to private trails.
HIKING
Trade a beach morning for a trail

Try Punta Gorda for coastal scenery—and bring your snorkeling gear. Alta Vista offers an uphill desert outing, while Middle Mountain at Rancho Cacachilas is an arranged ranch hike. The guidebook includes route links and access notes.
BEACHES & SNORKELING
Find your patch of shoreline
Start with Fig Tree close to home, Cueva de León for a snorkeling outing, or Punta Arenas for a change of scenery. Take the house beach gear, water and shade, and choose your swimming or snorkeling spot for the day’s conditions.
POOLS & DAY CLUBS
Make an afternoon of doing less

Pitaya Farm-to-Table at Mística Boutique Hotel, Ventana Blue and Aqua Ventana / Coyas are our starting points for a pool day, a meal or activities. Ask about day-pass availability, pickleball or other activities, and any food-and-drink credit before heading out.
WHALE SHARKS & LA PAZ
Plan a bigger ocean day

For seasonal whale-shark outings from La Paz, our guidebook includes Tuna Tuna Tours, La Paz VIP Tours and The Hook Experiences. Some trips combine wildlife with Balandra. Confirm seasonal access, your actual departure time and what is included.
DAY TRIPS
Go a little farther
Choose the Cañón de la Zorra waterfall near Santiago for a nature outing, El Triunfo for mining history and a meal, or Balandra for turquoise water near La Paz. The guidebook has planning notes and maps; check current access before traveling.
A few easy adventures are already included
Each house has two inflatable SUPs, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and its own SOLI canopy and Shibumi shade. Enjoy a calm-water paddle when conditions suit, pack for a beach outing, then rinse your gear back at the property and let it dry on the deck.
For guided activities, book directly with the operator and confirm dates, experience requirements, equipment, transport and current terms. Tours, lessons, rentals and day passes are separate from your house booking.
An adventure base that feels like home
Come back to a comfortable bed, bay-view decks and room to unwind. Choose the two-bedroom 20 Knots, the three-bedroom 30 Knots with its hot tub and game room, or both homes together for your group.
